#PFW - Lysandre G.L. - SS20
Updated: Oct 11, 2019
#pfw is a way to refer to the Paris Fashion Week. I had the honour to be personally invited by Lysandre G.L brand to its SS20 show (spring-summer 2020) and Autrement PR. Although it wasn't my first time to attempt to a fashion show, it was indeed a fantastic experience.
All started at the Salons Hoche in beautiful George V Paris neighbourhood. Minhua Guo Lenoir offered us a sparkling poetic show. Lurex materials for vapourous dresses, a colour palette using off white or dark grey. Navy and red colours mixed in a sensual way bringing us to "Rêveries enivrées" (Inebriated dreams).
Sleeves remains a little cape, made on a ruffle or Lysandre G.L iconic feathers work for this season - also seen on various accessories.
Bags were an important moment of this collection, with a special collaboration on Matchbox bags creations with DanHôo artist. French-Chinese painter working also on a superposition of colours and emotions from dreams.
As a continuation of this collaboration and heritage from two cultures, M.G. Lenoir Lysandre G.L 's designer did also present a beautiful embroidery work on another bags collection. Fantasy clutch 106 offers a journey from China to France and the other way around.
With navy and red superposition and particular contrast between lightness on the use of the dark grey and heavier off white, I have felt like transported to the Orient express train. Watching the fast-changing landscape without staring on a special point. Minhua Guo Lenoir has successfully given us the feeling of abstract artwork and dreamworld.
Many thanks again for having me with you Lysandre G.L.
I also want to thanks Autrement Pr for this opportunity to know this brand.
